The Sherick is a Lovely Independent Woman’s Home! I have the blessing of providing water & chair exercise for our residents. The Sherick has wonderful in house amenities to include our exercise classes, speciality & holiday programming and activities. The staff are so caring, friendly and compassionate. I truly love The Sherick and each of its residents.

We are blessed to have been able to move our mother into The Sherick in January 2023. In her early 90's, she no longer drove or had a desire to cook for herself, but still wanted to live independently, so The Sherick was a perfect fit! She had the comfort of her own apartment with all of her own furniture and belongings, but would go down the hall to the beautiful dining room for all of her meals where she enjoyed the company of other ladies while dining on well prepared meals. There are planned activities and crafts, as well as movie day and entertainment. There is an indoor cafe that always has drinks and snacks available, as well as numerous comfortable common areas where we were able to sit and visit with our mother when many of our family members came to town. Our mother enjoyed walking around the grounds for exercise, but during inclement weather we were able to walk the halls so that she still got her steps in. The Sherick is beautifully decorated in a style that our mother found very comfortable, and the all women residency is exactly what we were looking for. The amenities that drew us there are numerous, but the family atmosphere is what kept us there. I would recommend The Sherick to anyone that is looking for a safe, comfortable, family oriented living arrangement for their female loved one.

My mother was able to live independently at the Sherick. It was a wonderful experience for both her and our family. The facility is extremely well maintained and the staff was consistently responsive in a timely manner. I highly recommend the Sherick.
