The Riverside was the key for my Grandmothers recover after a long stay at Mount Sinai. While it was not perfect all the time, the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy is exceptional here.

My mom was in this facility for about three months after leaving the hospital. She was in need of rehabilitation/physical therapy. After hearing so many horror stories about other rehabs, our family chose this one. It met all our expectations and more. The staff was pleasant, professional and super attentive. Most especially we would like to thank Yusef and Ebu who went above and beyond. We are so happy that we chose this facility and would highly recommend them to anyone else!

19 days post spinal surgery of my 70 year old mother and they decided to lower her pain management medication without her consent. No one checked on her pain levels all day. Meanwhile she was in so much pain she couldn't do her therapy. When as her daughter I asked to speak to the doctor I was told I would have to wait until Monday. From day one the facility has shown horrible care with managing her pain making her wait up to 2 hours and 40 minutes since her medication was due in various occasions. No amount of pleading on my part to the nurses or administration has changed the lack of empathy. My mother has shown distress signs by sitting and crying in her bed because her anxiety is so high, feeling ignored, impotent, and later targeted. And while I try to advocate for her care, they treat me like a nuisance.

My sister, Susan, was a resident at Riverside for the past 4 years before she died recently a few weeks before her 85th birthday. Our family is deeply grateful for the kind, attentive, loving, and creative care she received. The family was well informed about any changes in her mental and physical health, including her final days in hospice. We are especially grateful for the recreational therapy that Susan experienced given her increasing dementia.

Riverside Premier Rehab is an exceptional facility that truly goes above and beyond for its residents and their families. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and consistently professional, creating an environment where patients feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for. A special thank you to the administrator, Abe, whose leadership is evident in every aspect of the facility. Abe is approachable, responsive, and deeply invested in both patient care and family communication. He takes the time to listen, address concerns, and ensure that everything runs smoothly, which makes a tremendous difference during what can be a very stressful time for families.
