The Plaza at Moanalua

The Plaza at Moanalua is an assisted living and senior care community in Honolulu, Hawaii, accommodating up to 160 residents. The community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Haliʻa Memory Care, Lamakū Extended Care, and Short-Term Respite programs across private studios, private one-bedroom apartments, and shared companion suites.

Independent Living residents enjoy a maintenance-free lifestyle with access to services and amenities while maintaining independence. Assisted Living provides support with daily activities while allowing residents to maintain personal choice and community connections in a safer environment with care that can adjust as needs evolve.

Haliʻa Memory Care serves residents experiencing cognitive changes such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing the Best Friends approach, a research-informed methodology focused on highly personalized care. Lamakū Extended Care provides the highest level of support for residents requiring greater clinical oversight, allowing them to remain in a familiar environment as their needs change.

The Plaza features three meals a day served restaurant-style, a coffee bistro, and a fitness and therapy center with daily exercise classes. Additional amenities include a full-service salon, media room and theater, computer stations, recreation and games rooms, and library and reading areas. Accommodations include walk-in showers with grab bars, adjustable bath benches, and adjustable showerheads.

On- and off-site activities and excursions are available to residents. Short-Term Respite provides temporary stays with the same support and services as full-time residency.
