Horrible experience at this facility from day one problems every single day.glad my Loved one was only there a week.those pictures on line are for sure mostly photo shopped.the first day there i witness the staff with her speaker phone on and just allowing someone on the other end to curse up a storm so everyone could hear.then another day a lady was screaming for help for over 8 mins no one to be found as usual and she was on the floor and they were in no hurry to get her up.and my Loved one was also on the floor one day my family called me said she on floor no one is helping me I had to call there and tell them get her off the floor now.this stuff is so uncalled for.i get you have 80 beds then get staff who love taking care of folks not ones that just sit there at the front desk and talk about the families and residents,i mean really staff of the pines we can hear you.this breaks my heart that they have so many who dont care.and the ones that do cant do it all by them self.and the cleaning of patients not good.ive heard stories of things but we witnessed this first hand.and so many other things I won't post.i stopped in all hours of the day and not much difference in care unless there was 2 ladies who were on duty then I noticed they actually cared.your loved ones no matter the state of mind they are in DESERVE RESPECT and if a resident does not want a man touching her and you still keep having a male do things in that room that is wrong She has a right to say No to anyone she is not helping her especially when it comes to area's of her body that is private,I get that they are trained for that but it's the patients right to only have who they want to help them,I felt so bad for this resident she was very upset when telling me this, then he told her to stop being rude to him. What No you need to step away and say yes mam ill get you a different person.i seen to much there.Never again will I send my Loved one to these places.and it seems that when the head administration staff leaves it a free for all, they need to do random visits on there staff all hours and weekends and actually see and ask residents for information about staff.

The physical therapy department is awesome!! All the therapist were kind, friendly, and professional. The two therapist I had the pleasure of working with were, Lisa and Melissa. These two ladies has the greatest sense of humor!! They made you forget how hard your tasks were. Next thing you knew, your session was over, but all you remember was laughing!! I really enjoyed my time with these ladies. Highly recommend the therapy department!!

The Pines in Canton has the best activity department I’ve seen at any nursing home. Their schedule is absolutely chalk full of things to do, and there’s always something going on. The staff are friendly, upbeat, and really get residents involved. It’s such a positive, lively place and truly stands out compared to other facilities.
