If you love your loved one at all I beg you DO NOT bring them here. My grandmother was here and was neglected in every sense of the word. I honestly believe that this place was the demise of her. She became unable to feed herself without cues and I found out that the staff weren't helping her. She was malnourished and severely dehydrated which led to a hospital stay and hospice. A very expensive item of hers went missing and there was zero accountability or apologies and they even went as far as to blame it on my grandmother. Absolutely disgusting. Every other resident still had their watch on but yet my grandmothers was missing. I would ask the staff about the status of the missing item and they were cruel and cold with their responses. Never in my life have I ever seen such unprofessional behavior in a supposed healthcare setting. A day after her death my mother and sister and I went to help gather her belongings and the assistant manager came in and slapped a piece of paper on the desk which included an inventory of her items. She did not offer any condolences and simply just asked for the paper to be signed. I inquired once again about my grandmother's missing item and she snapped at me and said it was never found. I responded with "I hope future residents receive better care than my grandmother did". To which she replied "Me too!" and stormed off. So you agree, the residents don't receive good care? Yikes! This place is one of the most unprofessional, uncapable and downright cruel facilities I've ever step foot in. I'd like to know what the almost $7,000 a month was put towards because it certainly wasn't for the recovery or healing of my grandmother. I hope that one day the staff might have some emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Or, try some compassion. Stay away!!!!
