Beware of judging a book by its cover. Imagine paying hundreds of thousands of $s cash to a place over a relatively short period of time and being treated like our loved one came to them with lint in pocket, they had no choice but to take in, and was thus costing them money. The grounds look nice and the buildings are newer construction but that's about it for goodness here. In our experience/opinion the administrative staff operating this facility/company, were flat callous. Kelly there at the facility was, biblically rude, callous, unprofessional. Poor to no information flow, and when we did get anything it was often in conflict with what we were being told by floor staff. Our experience also says don't bother looking for help from the main office down in the southern part of the state. You will likely get, if it happens like it did in our case, someone trained up and polished to act like they care, are deeply concerned, and will personally tend to your grievances. Nope. Never heard from the 'highly concerned' management person ever again. We feel that the management beyond the Madison campus just ended up running an act on us, circling company wagons, which in some regard is worse than just outright being treated like a piece of excrement as the admin office in Madison generally did. Our loved one passed away there and god as our witness we did not get so much as a form email of condolence from Woodlands Madison administration, or the company for that matter, let alone anything like a phone call of condolence, card in the mail, or a thanks for having elected to spend huge sums of money with them. It was as if our loved one was an unwanted burden they couldn’t wait to throw away the minute of passing came. The only people we were grateful for during our experience with this operation was a few select CNA's that worked there. To them we say 'thanks', if not for them the entire place would be considered a cold-hearted cruel operation worthy of investigation by regulatory agencies. Again, this review is based on the OPINION of our family. We urge anyone thinking of using this place to look beyond the façade of the facility itself. Tour the place and look at things with a critical eye and take note of the smells you encounter, the condition of the floors around the place, and the state of clients out in the common areas. Suffice to say, we would NEVER personally recommend this facility to be trusted with care of any person we cared about. Please choose wisely for your loved one. It matters so much for you and them.
