After two and a half months in the hospital with a spinal cord injury,I'm currently a resident.If it wasn't for the fact that there are some nice staff.I wouldn't even give this place 1 star.And there's a lot of the staff that are really unhappy to the point that they don't even like each other. Making it a hostile environment. And they always complain that someone has called out,leaving them short staffed. Which compromises the care of the residents. The director of nursing has instructed nurses to come in and trim my toenails for me. Nobody ever did it. They have not been trimmed since January.They're getting dangerously long.That's just one of many examples of neglect. The building is old and outdated. They're in the process of "remodeling." I've been here since April 13th.And as far as I know they've only done a few rooms. I believe there's twenty.And all they're doing is doing a deep clean in the room and painting. Supposedly new furniture has been ordered. But the staff said that that's been the rumor for a year. The food is terrible and is almost always cold. Some dishes can be warmed up. But,warmed up pancakes or waffles in the microwave are horrible.Scrambled eggs are out of a carton. So liquid egg.They're gross.Also we get vegetables out of the can and instant potatoes or potatoes out of the can. Really?? In a state known for its potatoes,we're getting that crap! This place needs to be investigated.Without notice. Just show up. And witness it. This all falls on the administrator and corporate. If you care about your loved one,keep them out of here.👎

I brought my mother here for skilled nursing rehab after her hospital stay - We found Woodlawn to be a really terrific place for her in this moment. The nursing staff was competent, willing to help and compassionate, the administrative staff was easy to work with, professional, and went above and beyond to help us navigate my mother's options. The facility was clean and the food was decent. It is never easy when parents or loved ones begin this new phase of life - it has not been for us - maybe you will not find everything your looking for here, but you will find real comfort, professional assistance and good honest caring people - which is about as much as anyone can hope for.

When you walk in all you can smell is urine and poop they have all the windows screwed closed so you can open it very high in the summer.they are always running out of supples, they have a break out of bed bugs and they are always short handled the maintenance for get it it takes weeks to get stuff done. And no matter what they never call you back when you need to talk to people.and every thing has to be cleared thought the D O N. The residents have to wait hours for help and to get stuff done.it’s really sad the residents can’t even give out Christmas cards the administration will not let them.

The worst care for any patient, the staff and RN DONT care about patients needs or requirements for care. My grandmother is there because they were the only open bed at the time . (Trying to get her out and the best care she needs and deserves) .. No welcome, no interview, only intake from the technician,height weight etc ,, my grandmother has certain dietary and physical needs. AT NO POINT was these addressed. In fact she was served food that she couldn’t eat and was told that they didn’t accommodate someone with certain food allergies. This SNF doesn’t have good ratings or patient care . Please send the ones you love somewhere else if not somewhere more caring...
