I wish there was a zero rating as an option because this place is the worst nursing home I have ever seen in my life. My mom has dementia and was in memory care for 2 years and it was the worst 2 years of her life! They never attempted to shower my mom when she refused to shower. I witnessed verbal abuse in this place on 2 separate occasions where I overheard staff yelling at the residents. Everytime you come in the memory care unit, the staff are sitting down on their phones and never interacting with the residents. My mom declined so much that I had to call hospice. If your relative is in this facility, GET THEM OUT NOW! This is just a place where you send your loved one to die! I have my mom in a place now where she is loved and cared for properly. They put in the work and shower her and change her everyday now. She's so much happier and she will probably no longer be appropriate for hospice soon. We are lucky that our mom had a happy ending but so many have died a horrible death in this place. If this place was recommended to you, RUN!

My mother has been at this facility from the beginning of takeover from Advantage Living Center and I can tell you that the communication has decreased significantly. No one should feel displaced like trash as a family or customer/patient. My mother and others were told they were temporary moved to allow renovation but would return to their original rooms once complete. They were moved to unclean rooms where the hot water was out and unclean. They did not give family's provision to get their belongings for comfort. It was supposed to be temp but now its to be permanent. Our loved ones are not trash. This is supposed to be a care facility but does not care clearly. They get their money and will not even return calls. I am still awaiting follow up call from Administratior Jasmine 2weeks since Easter. Transparency is being forward with family.

Had such a great experience with the facility! The Admission lady Erica brought me in toured me with the facility she made me and my brother feel so comfortable! We went ahead with admitting out family into the orchards, we meet with Jasmine the Administrator and the Don Sapphire they were great! So far i have no complaints! Im happy my family is as well! If your looking for a place for your family to get the care and love pick the or hards at redford .

I live across the street and there are multiple busted windows with wood haphazardly thrown up allowing for DIRECT ENTRY INTO THE BUILDING and it’s bringing shady individuals who try and enter the building. All day and night I catch people trying to get and I’ve let the staff know but nobody cares. Glass everywhere, gutters falling apart. I would not have your family in here. The building isn’t even secure. I talked to the management who runs all three locations and they clearly don’t care about this location. NOT SAFE.

Choosing The Orchards of Redford for my mother’s care was the best decision I’ve had to make. From day one, I felt a deep sense of peace knowing she was in a place where she would be safe, cared for, and truly loved. The staff was extraordinary especially the Director of Nursing Sapphire and the Administrator Jaz. They both were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in each resident’s well-being. They didn’t just care for my mother; they cared about her. Whether it’s helping her with daily routines, sharing a laugh, or just sitting and listening, their warmth and respect never went unnoticed. The building is always clean, inviting, and full of life. The meals are delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the activities offered kept my mother engaged, smiling, and socially connected. There’s always something to look forward to, and that made a world of difference for her happiness and overall health. What touched me the most is how the team at the Orchards treated my mom like family. They honored her as the incredible woman she was, and that meant everything to me. Although my mother transitioned earlier this year I am beyond grateful to have found The Orchards Of Redford . If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with kindness, dignity, and genuine love, I wholeheartedly recommend Orchards of Redford.
