The Oaks Assisted Living & Memory Care

The Oaks is an assisted living and memory care community located in Gilbert, Arizona. The community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care options, with custom levels of support available so residents can age in place through different stages of life. Care services include light housekeeping, same-day maintenance responses, 24-hour on-call personal care, and emergency response pendants.

The community is situated in a quiet, walkable neighborhood with medical offices nearby and convenient access to shopping and dining. The location includes spacious patios with outdoor seating, misters, and a BBQ area for residents to enjoy.

Dining is a central part of life at The Oaks, with all-day restaurant-style dining available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Chef David and his team prepare comfort-food favorites including pot pies, homemade soups, hearty burgers, and personal wood-fired pizzas. Three meals per day are included in pricing, along with most other living expenses. Residents meet monthly with Chef David during "Food for Thought" sessions to share feedback and menu ideas.

A full-time Life Enrichment team coordinates social events, exercise programs, and outings. Activities include weekly happy hours, the High Adventure Club with outings to venues like the Musical Instrument Museum and steamboat cruises, card games, Stretch & Be Fit classes, chair kickboxing, creative projects, themed dinners, and live entertainment.

For memory care, the community offers the Apollo program, described as a fresh approach that maximizes life through all its stages for residents experiencing cognitive decline. The community also features LifeLoop, a digital platform allowing residents to browse event calendars, sign up for activities, submit maintenance requests, and message staff 24/7.

The Oaks is owned by Stellar Senior Living, a family-owned and operated network. The leadership team brings over 100 combined years of experience, with several members having served for more than a decade.
