Highly Do NOT Recommend. -Staffing issues, some are very top tier staff but it's few. Hiring new staff that have no idea what they are doing with minimal supervision. -Giving wrong person prescriptions medications of someone else. -Run down outdated building. -Poorly transferring patients, nearly hit the floor again today. I can't stand up but was told to for transfer, no help was given to transfer. -Patients being sent to ER often. -Staff rather argue with you than communicate properly. Some will even go far as yelling at patients. -Poor quality housekeeping. -Don't let patient's actually sleep, I'm hardly awake at 7am yet come banging on door anyway. Had a Dr shake me awake to argue with me and walk away even. -Contaminated ice for beverages, they just leave open ice in hallway for anyone and everyone, today seen someone using bare hands to put in cup; this ice made me sick. -Nurses just leave you in agonjzing pain all night and day. -Broken call light buttons, just told "we'll put in maintenance order". -Can take staff 15 to 30 plus minutes to respond to call lights, this leaving patients to hold the need to go to bathroom for extended times. -Halls just smell like C. Diff. Great place for ice snd beverage carts. -They hardly do frequent checks on patients, it's very rare unless some too tier staff is working. There is just so much wrong I could go on for days and I've only been here a week for Sub-Acute Rehab and it isn't a good place. The good staff try really hard but a lot is then undone by the poor quality staff. Something's seriously wrong with this place and they need investigated. I have been sicker here than I was at Denver Health where I transferred from. I may get worse care posting this while here still but it needs said, it could save someones life. I'm trying hard to get out before they take my life with their lack care and wrong prescriptions. Find a better place, you'll have regrets if you chose here *New edit things continue to snowball downwards, 2 911 reports in week for neglect. Other patients yelling for help for 30minutes. Nurse refused to acknowledge my possible UTI issues had to get a Charge Nurse involved. Some staff go above and beyond but some are absolutely in the wrong field. Nurse tonight was very rude to not only me but other patients, could hear it and yelled at the CNA. Really go elsewhere it's not safe, I've filed with state and they are doing an investigation; my APS worker is also investigating. They're calling me more independent, when I was forcefully forced to have independence despite how painful and dangerous it is as I am a fall risk. But waiting 30min to hour and half to pee wasn't and isn't an option. Having a clean room is a right and something housekeeping and staff should do, but don't. Place is worse than a cheap motel. 24.7 care is a lie.

Everyone I encountered when touring was kind and smiled at me; I felt confident that my family member would be well taken care of for short-term rehab and I was not disappointed. Everyone, from therapy to social services, made sure my family member (and my family) was understood and received the appropriate care. Highly recommend.

In my 12 years of experience in healthcare, I have never met a team more positive, upbeat, and engaging than the team at The Lodge at Red Rocks. Their love for their patients shines through in every bright smile you see throughout the building. The communication from the team is consistently top-notch, and the managers are always approachable, visible, and willing to help resolve any concerns quickly and professionally. The views from every room are absolutely stunning, and in the evenings, residents and families can enjoy peaceful walks outside while listening to nearby concerts from Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The therapy team works incredibly hard each day to help patients regain strength, return home safely, and continue supporting those who call this building home. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a positive, compassionate, and impactful rehabilitation experience.
