Finding a place for my mother was not an easy decision to make. We toured many facilities in the area and they all made us feel the need to keep looking. When we visited Legacy of Delano we noticed that everyone was smiling and boy did that make the difference for mom. The residents and the staff were all welcoming. After placing mom in memory care, it was nice to see her make new friends with all the staff and residents. Invariably we'd find her visiting someone in their room when we'd come to visit. Whenever we would get ready to leave she'd always give me a hug and say "thank you for taking care of me". That's a gift I will always remember. Thank you Legacy.

My father was cared for at the Legacy of Delano for almost 4 months. He was mostly immobile and was receiving almost the highest level of care. I can not say enough about the professionalism and respect the entire staff had for my father. I met my father everyday for breakfast and coffee, the kitchen staff was outstanding and went the extra mile for him and all of the residents. Every request I made was respectfully and promptly seen to. I dreaded needing to have someone else care for him, but his care was beyond my ability. It was a comfort for me and my siblings to know he was so well taken care of.

I feel welcome as soon as I enter the building. The people are kind and thoughtful. The open concept is inviting. That makes people want to gather and socialize.
