We chose The Legacy of Camden 3 years ago bc of the warm & home like environment & the welcoming feeling by both staff & residents. The staff continues to be respectful, attentive & caring while treating each resident like family. Some of my Mom’s care needs have changed over the years but the staff has been able to meet her where she is & treat her with compassion & often a hug! Thank you for all you do!

See below for the review I posted in 2024. My mother is now 96 and needs a bit more care than she did in 2024. But the staff is still looking after her with splendid service. The activities are still excellent. The activities director is especially good but I should not praise anyone in particular. They are simply exceptional. Keep reading for my earlier post. My 94 year-old mother has lived at The Legacy for nearly two years. I could say many good things about it. For example: good food with no complaints. Choice of menu. Attentive staff. Plenty of activities. BINGO! (Among others) Sensible rate. The staff provide a very friendly atmosphere to us who visit and to the residents.

Very pleased with the compassionate and patient assistance as we've worked to transition my inlaws into a better environment to meet their changing needs. Kim and April have been wonderful and all the staff have been cheerful and friendly as we've had many questions during this process. Very happy so far.

What an amazing place! My father has been a resident here for a year now and he and I have never had a single complaint. The staff takes excellent care of him by serving him three meals a day, keeping his room super clean, doing his laundry and making sure he’s happy and healthy. I’m very protective of my Dad so I wouldn’t let him live just anywhere. The Legacy of Camden (formerly Morningside) has exceeded my expectations! In fact, i have started to think of the staff as family and they do a wonderful job of communicating with me. Everyone who works here has a compassionate heart for the residents and I’m extremely grateful for their kindness and professionalism.

Morningside is a perfect place for my Mother to live. She will be 90 this year and is immensely happy to be where she is. She is active and healthy, creative, loved and cared for. The staff works as a team, no job too big or too small and each resident gets personal one on one attention from all staff members. All residents are treated like members of a family. Emotional spiritual and physical needs are taken into account and addressed on an as needed basis. Family members are recognized by staff and friendships are formed among residents, staff and family. I am kept informed on the needs of my mother that have been lovingly taken care of. When we go out for a meal or shopping, my mother is always happy to return home. I no longer have to manage caregivers or worry about her needs or health issues. It has improved both her quality of life and that of her family members. Thank you to every one of you beautiful people who have given your time to care for our elders. A group hug to all of you.
