First, I want to acknowledge the obvious: the grounds, décor, and overall facility are top notch. Everything visible is well maintained, modern, and beautifully designed. It truly is a stunning property that creates a welcoming environment for residents and families. As for the staff, my father was in the skilled nursing facility (“health center”), and like many SNFs, they appeared understaffed for the number of patients they serve. Unfortunately, that seems to be common in healthcare facilities today. Despite that, the staff was generally personable, caring, and professional. They took very good care of my father, and he genuinely enjoyed both the food and the physical therapy services. The only negative experience we had involved a staff member stealing my father’s leather duffle bag. It was reported, but nothing ultimately came of it, which was disappointing. Receiving his medication on time was a challenge but we did work that out. Overall, while there were some concerns, my father received good care and had a positive experience during his stay.
