The Landings of the Albemarle, what can I say? We couldn’t be happier with the care our mom receives at this assisted living community. From day one, the staff has treated her with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. It’s clear that they truly care about the residents — not just as patients, but as people. Mom is so happy here. She’s made wonderful friends, stays active with activities, and always has something to look forward to. The food is delicious, the building is clean and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. Knowing she is safe, well cared for, and surrounded by caring people gives our family such peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful for everyone here and highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a loving place for their family member.

My 96 y/o dad has been in the assisted living side for 4 months now. I can not praise them enough for the exceptional care he has received while in their care. I wish I had known about The Landings years ago. 25 miles away but well worth the drive.

My mother was a resident of The Landings of Albemarle for four years. The Landings is a beautiful, welcoming, and clean facility with a spacious dining room, modern hair salon with a wonderful hairstylist, activities room for entertainment, games, and crafts, indoor and outdoor sitting areas for social gatherings, and bright, cheerful rooms for its residents. The nursing and caregiving staff at The Landing is very compassionate, loving, genuinely caring, respectful, and always takes time to talk and listen to the residents which gives them a feeling of belonging, connection, and importance. The administrative staff was very professional, helpful, and always supportive. The staff made sure the residence were active and engaged each day with special events, games, recreational programs, entertainment, and special treats. If there was ever an issue, they were very proactive. We were blessed that The Landings of the Albemarle opened at the time we needed extra care for our precious mother. I highly recommend this facility to a family needing assistance with their loved one. I would suggest to volunteer, get involved, and become a part of your loved one's new family and friends.

My mom chose The Landings for her new home as the next step in her 93 year old life. She moved into the assisted living wing, and she and the family are very happy with the beauty of the place. There are outdoor seating areas and beautifully decorated inside common areas such as the dining room and window-filled hallways. Her apartment space is well designed and just the right size. Large shelves in the spacious bathroom, a tidy kitchenette, sizeable closets, and large windows in her living room make living in the apartment very pleasant. The 3 meals each day in the dining room, served by friendly and caring folks, are tasty well-balanced, and have adequate amounts of food on the plate. The menus vary and are posted by the week and day. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the residents are happy. They are welcoming and caring, checking in daily with each other. Special programs and activities are available for the residents' enjoyment also. Both my mom, and our family, are quite happy with her new home at The Landings and highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a new home too!

Numerous people told us that Landings was the best in the area, and after roughly seven months, I have to agree. They were willing to work out a special arrangement rooming arrangement for my mother, one that has made the transition from living alone as comfortable as possible. The administrators and medical staff have responded to every question, often late at night. It is an impressive place.
