I thought the highlands was a well kept establishment until I went to visit my grandmother in personal care and a mice rant into her room . She said that it’s been happening more frequently and they don’t have housekeeping and having been doing anything about it . She hates that she can’t sleep in peace without the thoughts of a mouse running in her room. The highlands is so disgusting and the owner of the company doesn’t care .

Waited almost 2 hours for our food in the Bistro. Very understaffed and poor service. Waitress did not even come to table until we waited 45 minutes. Food was underseasoned and dry. They should have told us that they were running way behind they didn't even apologize. Do not go to the Bistro unless you have hours of time to waste.

While my mother in law has been a resident for 17 years she was recently been placed in Aspire care assisted living which has been substandard for care of a 97 year old with memory issues. She has been out of toilet paper for days and it’s supposed to be supplied to her by the staff.<br>There have been many other issues almost too many to post here but the staff needs to get on the ball. They ask for a large donation every holiday season and I’m sure people are treated according to the amount of their donation. So sad for her!

Please do not fall for the pretty surroundings or the sales pitch.<br>I am not sure how they treat women in memory, but I do know that in the memory they don’t have experience with dementia and the nurses are overworked so if they ask somebody something one time they don’t comprehend has to be immediate they will go for 7 to 10 days .<br>Seven days a week that’s 21 shifts not one person has an ability to help a person wash himself or change his clothes . Pay zero attention to a diabetic diet. Continue to check the blood sugar all the time. I think the family should have access to the charts.<br>11,000 $1000 a month get you a place to sit and be depressed and three meals a day. Everything else is extra. Please keep your home and get a private person or agency. Also I was not just told but now I have witnessed and abuse.<br>The staff admit to being understaffed.<br>The conditions I mean, you would think you were living at homeless shelter with nice flowers Unbelievable.<br>Also, you have to watch the billing because everything’s extra .<br>There are somebody’s there for three or four months. They’re doing well as they get once a week or once every 10 days and not even even person they say the person does not cooperate because they have dementia in the dementia expert. They said there’s 21 shifts a week .<br>When you see somebody blood sugar very high three hours after a meal and drink soda patience they don’t understand. Oh yeah definitely checked your pharmacy receipt charged for that don’t exist. This is for a family that visits you did not visit.<br>They do have some good employees very good employees they’re overworked. They also have employees in the room wandering around with things and can’t get any help. That is very common. They ignore the call button from people ask for help and then sometimes our ladies will come out and try to get help but they don’t know how..<br>If you loved your, I have that much money to spend don’t spend it there.

Beautifully designed and decorated. The different wings are convenient for locomotion and safe ambulating. The atmosphere is cozy and classy. The lunch room looks like a fancy restaurant. They also have cute little shops inside and many other amenities. Staff is friendly and professional. This is an exclusive place for retirees and those in rehabilitation.
