Staff was very pleasant. Lead me to the room I was looking for. Knocked on the door and announced my presence. Making sure the resident wanted to see me. Resident safety is important to them.

Sadly, I have talked to the state multiple times in-regards to care of our loved one.. Contracted physician care from Winn-Med was Excellent!!! But sadly care below that level was very spotty. Years ago this was the facility to place your loved one, but very few of those skilled and caring personnel is still working there. If this is your only option please make sure you or a family member is in the facility often to advocate for your love one’s care!

The staff on the Rivers Unit are wonderful. Kayla is a fantastic care giver. They not only take excellent care of the residents but always ask me if I need anything when I am visiting It was David’s birthday today and they made sure he got to listen to Beech Boy songs which are his favorite It takes very special people to work in a memory car unit and the staff at Aasa Heugen are the very best. Thank you for all you do

I have to agree with Lisa Nelson that is very possible because they are post to have nurses clip the residents toes I believe they had someone that was not qualified clip my mother toes and they cut it to the skin on not just one toe but 4 of they was bleeding and it is still sore up after 2 months and there trying to say it's cause she a diabetic not they have Temps come in cause I've witnessed it before and most of the time they don't even know what be going on then the tube in my mother stomach her feeding to had bust I guess but instead of taking her to the doctor immediately to get that fixes they taped it up instead and waited days to take her that is not perfectional then they wanna call and harass people about money but they not taking care of her like they post to they need to but they same energy they use to run people down about money they really don't deserve and focus on taking better care of there patients and making sure there temp people know what to do
