Wowza!! I enjoyed one of the greatest Family experiences at Harmony at Hanover Assisted Living/Memory Care Community. Thanks to Christina Tuck and Zion Martin supported by Kris Jones, acting Executive Director (let’s make that permanent), this Hawaiian Luau was fantastic. The decorations took your breath away and immediately welcomed everyone to the fun. The food was delicious and varied so that everyone had a choice. The music was such an added blessing as we were all singing at different times. And we had an “icee food truck”; where growing up I would have called it “make your own snow cone”. I made a rainbow 🌈. The greatest of all was the filled lobby extending outside with so many residents dressed for the event and the magical conversations going on between Residents and outside Family. With the new and existing staff, including Brandon and Ceecee plus Bella and Nicki and so many, many more, Harmony is creating a true energizing Family environment and I couldn’t be more thrilled that my mom is safely there as a Resident.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important for families considering this community to know about our experience. My mother moved into the Independent Living community about a month ago, and unfortunately, it has not been the experience that was presented to us during the leasing process. We were told there would be weekly entertainment, an on-site chef preparing meals, housekeeping services, and readily available maintenance. Since moving in, we have found that many of these representations were inaccurate. The meals are prepared off-site, not by an on-site chef as we were led to believe, and the food has been consistently disappointing. The move-in process also started on the wrong foot. My mother's move was delayed because the apartment did not have working air conditioning. Although we were told the apartment had been deep cleaned, the kitchen cabinets were dirty, the washing machine was covered with soap scum, and it was clear it had not been cleaned to the standard promised. There have also been ongoing maintenance issues, including a malfunctioning dishwasher and an exterior door with a noticeable gap that allows light from the hallway to shine through and lets the air conditioning escape. What has been most disappointing is that the Independent Living community does not feel like the active, engaging environment we were promised. We understand the campus also includes Assisted Living and Memory Care, but it often feels as though Independent Living lacks its own identity and focus. My mother chose Independent Living because she wanted an active lifestyle with opportunities to socialize and participate in activities, but that has not been her experience. Moving into a senior living community is a major life decision, and families depend on honest, accurate information when making that choice. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements so future residents receive the experience they are promised.

I highly recommend the Harmony at Hanover to anybody looking to move a loved one into a Senior Living Community. They have great amenities, engaging events for seniors, and compassionate staff ready to make a difference in your life. Give them a call today! I promise you won’t regret this decision!

First impressions at Harmony are phenomenal! After my husband and I visited (for his mom), I was ready to go home and post a 50-star review. The assisted living facility is lovely. It smells good. The staff we met are genuinely friendly and welcoming (they still are). But operationally, things started falling apart very quickly after mom moved in. Poor communication and lack of accountability from management top the list of our concerns. I read the other reviews where people find the communication and responsiveness to be excellent. That is wonderful, but that has not been our experience. I had hoped that we would get there eventually, but it felt like management tired of my complaints. I was told certain things - to appease me - but then those things were not done. Then, all of a sudden, everything we had discussed previously seemed to be no longer true, and apparently we have no recourse. I have reached out to upper management, but they have shown as little interest in hearing my concerns as lower management (meaning, there has been no urgency to return my calls and try to assist). I would love to be able to speak to the owner about our experience with Harmony!

My mother has been a resident at the Harmony Collection at Hanover for over 4 years. The staff and community are wonderful. From the first day my mother entered The Harmony, Dainelle was so welcoming, professional and accommodating. She helped make the transition for my mother from her house to independent living easy. Dainelle cares about the residents and goes above and beyond. My mother loves The Harmony Collection at Hanover…It is truly home for her.
