About The Granville Assisted Living Center

The Granville Assisted Living Center opened for operation in February 1998. Our mission is to always ensure dignity and respect in everything we do.

The Granville Assisted Living Center is devoted to providing a friendly environment that is clean, safe, and attractive. Our affordable housing provides assistance with the activities of daily living to elderly individuals, whose annual gross income does not exceed 60% of the area median gross income established for Denver, Colorado.

Our apartments range from approximately 265 square feet to 450 square feet.

Like a few other assisted living centers in the Denver metro area, The Granville is financed in part with equity generated from the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program. This requires that our residents earn less than 60% of the median income of the county in which the property is located, Jefferson County. This amount is set forth each year by HUD.

The income of the resident must be certified at the time he or she moves into the facility, and again each year throughout the period of occupancy. The maximum rent the resident can be charged is also set by HUD. Currently, a person occupying a 60% tax credit unit cannot make more than $37,800 annually in income (this includes income from all assets).

The Granville is dedicated to helping low-income adults and we will therefore accept residents on the Medicaid HCBS program. In addition to our rent requirements, The Granville also has a minimum age requirement of 62.

My mom lived here for almost a decade. My family will be forever thankful and grateful for the staff and owners at The Granville. It is a beautiful place that feels like a real community and family. Everyone is so kind, and you can feel the good vibes here. I wouldn't mind living here at all if I ever need assisted living. We visited many, many assisted living facilities in Denver and Lakewood, and some are absolutely attrocious; finding The Granville was a breath of fresh air. The Granville was a blessing in our time of need. I could not more highly recommend The Granville if you're in Colorado and looking for a real caring place for your precious loved one. Thank you Granville!

My grandma moved in last year and it has been such a blessing! I swear she's gonna live longer because of this place, everyone that works there is so friendly and helpful, they have so many activities all the time and they really promote togetherness. The room itself is absolutely perfect, tons of storage and the layout is really versatile. They involve the family a lot too, and side note the food there is actually really good! I was pleasantly surprised. I would absolutely recommend this place.

A beautiful place to live where your loved ones will be well taken care of... as long as they are on good behavior. Granville did not communicate or collaborate with the family when they were having issues with my grandmother, and took the opportunity to push her out when she was injured. If they issue an involuntary discharge, DO THE OFFICIAL APPEAL OF THAT DECISION. Joe is good at lulling family into a false sense of security. Don't trust them if something feels off. Your loved one has rights, exercise them. They also don't have padding between the carpet and the cement floors, so falls have a greater impact.

My mom and I are thrilled to have found The Granville for her home. The staff are wonderful, residents are friendly, optional daily activities, and an awesome weekly menu! Her private room is clean and has great natural light from a large window. Thank you Granville for demonstrating how assisted living can be; a place where you can thrive! 5 Stars!!!
