Not a very respectable place to consider safe, well kept and managed. A beautiful facade in the lobby... decorated with opulent marble, a piano and polished floors and walls. Past the glass doors and this facility looks like a cross between The Shining & One Flew Over The CooCoo's Nest. Our family member and another patient stated staff are overly physically aggressive. If you're looking for a more responsible facility, do your homework. Medicaid has their website with listed facilities that are rated. Very disappointed with Eleanor and we're looking to get our family member outta this place. 🛑

When I came to The Eleanor 3/2025 I couldn't even walk. The place looks amazing as they remodeled their rehab unit . The staff there was great from the nurses to Therapist dept. everyone were great !!. I was able to get better and go home. I was Greeted and treated with respect and dignity.

This is the most horrible place . They dont take care of the people there. They let our family member Starve to death. He has pressure wounds so much worse than he had when going to this place. they dont turn them enough or at all. Asking for ice water . and being told they dont have it. How this place is even open. is beyond us. The nurses and a few aids we had run in with. are such rude people. Find another job. That you would actually enjoy. its all about the money with this dump. They refused our family member Hospice Care. Because they wouldn't get paid by the insurance. State needs to investigate this place. Sad when there own employee. Tell you about stuff going on there. DISGUSTING...

Elizabeth in Admissions was a tremendous help to me. I had to arrange for Respite Care for my spouse because I had to travel for my brother's funeral. I reached out to Elizabeth on very short notice and she made all the arrangements, including transportation, and kept me informed along the way, including calls after business hours. Very patient and compassionate.

The grounds are beautiful, landscaping is amazing here at the Eleanor. The upper parking lot needs a little work as the drainage needs fixed.Upon walking into the main desk you will be greeted with a smile from Marianne who will help you in anyway possible. Moving into the elevator ( there is two but one is being upgraded), you will be greeted by Patrick who is just about the most delightful man you have ever met. Patrick helps with the admission process and helps anywhere and with anything that needs done here at the Eleanor. The nursing staff is very kind, loving and supportive of my Moms needs. Her aids are always available to help in anyway possible. The nurses and aids do not just do their job they become your family and you become their family. The maintenance and cleaning staff are so nice and helpful. The food is very good,( yes actually very good). The inside of the Eleanor is clean, very pretty and nicely decorated. All holidays are welcomed here. My mom has been here over a year and I am very happy and most importantly she is very happy that she is here. Take a short visit, view the grounds, view the inside, take a tour, talk to the nice nurses, aids, staff, administrators and receptionist, you will not be disappointed. I know I wasn’t!!!!
