This is a wonderful place where my mother-in-law staying the staff is always so considerate and works really hard to make people comfortable. We always get notified if there’s an issue and we have worked with the people at VOA to make sure that my mother-in-law has a quality life.

Beware!!! Two residents ended up with identical black eyes on their left eyes and caregivers claimed they were caused by "falls on the carpet". When reported to director of nursing and residence director they stated "no further investigation was necessary" even when Caregivers stated residents, "Fight them". Reported to MAARC. Neighbors of building report screaming of residents throughout the night and call 911. Many residents need mechanical lifts but management refuses to allow them. Residents are being transferred unsafely without mechanical lifts as management says they aren't allowed there. Assisted living facilities are allowed to use mechanical lifts but management said that's against the law which is not true. Very unsafe for residents and caregivers. They refuse to use mechanical lifts for residents who need them causing resident and caregiver injuries.
