My mom has been here for a couple months and in this time we've seen how caring the staff are for the residents. Everyone we have worked with, from nursing to administration has gone above and beyond to answer questions and help in any way they are able. In the past my dad was in a different facility locally that were extremely difficult to work with and The Dalles Health and Rehab has drawn such an unbelievable contrast that is frankly difficult to put into words.

Not bad place but it needs more light all the workers seem like zombies not even the right amount of staf for a care place my mother inlaw is staying there everything looks gloomy like out of a creepy movie needs lots of up grades but it got a great view of the hills and vally 👍who ever owns this place it needs lots of work

While visiting a friend who is a patient here, I've had a chance to check this facility out 🙂. It sits up on the side of a hill, next to an orchard with a huge view of manicured grounds and surrounding terrain. Parking can be crowded at times. The entrance to the building is monitored for the safety of patients. Large lobby designed like a star shape with corridors leading off to patient rooms, dining, activities, therapy, etc. The patient rooms are on the smallish side with large patio openings that allow for abundant light. The staff is very good, but could use more hands on deck to cover patient needs more quickly.

I found the administrators very accommodating. The staff is excellent. The whole facility runs as a very efficient team. Dads medical issues have been addressed and greatly improved. He received the care he needed and everyone I worked with went out of their way to help.

The disfunction in this place is astounding. I would never have a loved one step foot in this place again. When there is this much disfunction you know it starts at the top.
