The Cottage at Cypress Cove is a very special place and one that is near and dear to me personally. My grandfather passed away from Alzheimer's several years ago and I sincerely wish there was a place like The Cottage where he lived.<br>The building itself is absolutely beautiful with four distinct neighborhoods for residents, each catering to a unique "family" setting that revolves around resident choice and resident preference. There is state-of-the-art technology to keep residents safe in the building and the care offered is simply outstanding.<br>As I celebrated my 40th birthday this year I wanted to do something memorable and support a cause that I care about a great deal. I developed a 40-for-40-as-I-turn-40 campaign and set out to raise 40 hundred dollars while walking 40 miles on my 40th birthday. Proud to say that the campaign was able to raise over $4000 in donations to Cypress Cove's Cottage to support programming for those battling dementia and Alzheimer's.

The place is beautifully landscaped and kept up with. They plant new flowers out front every few months. It is a peaceful,calming place.
