Mom has been there for a year and a half. It was sold in January and since then the quality has gone to the ground. The old staff has been forced out, the staff is short, the cleaning and laundry has become intermittent, food on the weekend is poor, the administration doesn’t respond to complaints from residents. We have tried to discus the problems with administration but no action has taken place. So at 86, Mom is moving, the last thing she ever planned to do but, there are other better asst living places in Hattiesburg and they even cost less then the Claiborne. It is disappointing to see such a great operation be destroyed in just 6 month. Pricing goes up quality goes down, it seems the corporate way in today’s world. Mom is not the only one leaving.
