About The Broadmoor Alf

The Broadmoor Assisted Living Community in Fort Pierce, Florida specializes in memory care for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory loss diseases. The community provides a secure, home-like residential environment designed specifically for individuals navigating the cognitive challenges of memory loss.

The community operates three distinct neighborhoods to accommodate residents at different disease stages. Magnolia Terrace is a specialized all-female neighborhood for women in early stages of memory loss, with a dedicated caregiver using a holistic approach. A second neighborhood serves both men and women in middle stages of Alzheimer's and dementia who require hands-on assistance with daily living activities. The third neighborhood cares for residents in end stages of the disease, including those requiring hospice care.

The Broadmoor emphasizes personalized care that maintains residents' cognitive, physical, and social functions at the highest level possible throughout the disease process. The philosophy centers on understanding each resident's life story, interests, and experiences, encouraging residents, family members, and caregivers to engage in reminiscing while creating new memories in a secure setting.

Amenities and programs include multiple safe outdoor patios, semi-private and private suites, three dining rooms serving home-cooked meals and dietitian-approved menus with snacks, activity programs featuring music and pet therapy, gardening, arts and crafts, interactive games, exercise, and dance. On-site third-party providers including physicians, dentists, podiatrists, ophthalmologists, home health, hospice, and psychological services reduce the need for residents to leave the community for appointments.

My aunt resides in this nursing home, where she consistently receives impeccable care. The weekday staff are exceptional, and she has expressed her fondness for the facility. I would like to extend my gratitude to Alicia, a dedicated nurse who consistently goes above and beyond to address my inquiries and concerns regarding my aunt's well-being.

The caregivers at this facility took phenomenal care of my grandmother. She was so loved by all of the staff and I could see that every time I visited. It made me feel better to know she was in the best of hands. Thank you all for everything you do!

My mom was a resident at The Broadmoor for five years. The entire staff at Broadmoor were wonderful to my mother and to me and my family. They took great care of my mom, she was always clean and so was her room. They paid attention to mom and would always talk to her and take time with her. As my mom progressed and we knew her time was short, The Broadmoor Staff was compassionate and caring and helpful to me and helped me get through the final stage. I highly recommend The Broadmoor Assisted Living Facility!
