"A" for effort. Clean facility but dated, needs a remodel but I have had no problems. Staff is great and friendly, always joking and cheerful. Food I would give a *** needs to expand the menu. Rehab staff very helpful, no problems. Overall it's a good place, I see no problems, patients are happy and that's all that counts, seen far worse. I would return here if needed.

This facility wouldn't let me speak to my brother before death. They kept hanging up and giving me the run around. After the 5th time of calling back they finally told me that'd I'd have to have "mothers"permission to speak with him. He's a 36 grown up adult man??

My family and I are advocates for my oldest brother James, who is a patient at the Midtown The Blossom nursing home facility. The entire staff is wonderful. My brother was really sick when he first come to The Blossom. The care from administration to nursing staff is so professional. For and any falls he have is immediately addressed. The nursing staff will call me or my brother Jackie. It can be noon day or 1am in the morning. This keep my family informed on any changes in my brothers medication. They aloud my input on my brother's treatment. They don't just call, I gets text messages as well. The wound care nurse keeps me well informed on my brother treatment as well. The doctors are very informative with my family as well. The food service workers are kind and feeds my brother with good, nutritious and tasty food. If anyone has a bad experience with Midtown The Blossoms nursing facility. I would tell them they are not telling the truth. These people work hard and the atmosphere is great. Thank you all at the Midtown Blossom. Keep doing what you are doing. I can rest at night with no worries about my brother because of each and every one of you. May God blessed each and every one of you is my prayer. P. S. You all deserve a great bonus and raise 👏 🙌 👍 ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I only give it four stars because there are some good people here on the staff, but most are inexperienced selfish loud mouth's. Sometimes when they get together in groups nobody can hear anything in the whole room, they get that black projects language nobody else can understand. Definite communication problems on all levels, way understaffed, and most of them have the attention span of a goldfish. They'll tell you they'll be right back and you won't see him the rest of the day. Some of the nurses have attitudes that shows their only here for the money, they don't give a damn if you're in pain. In nasty tone of voice bark at you like ta dog. The food is actually pretty good for cafeteria, but it's not enough for dinner you go to bed hungry. Ordering in is very expensive, and they got vending machines that are ridiculous prices if they're working. They have medication policies that will leave you in pain, and they'll try and lower your doses periodically without telling you, you don't have much say in your treatment, and you have to jump when they snap their fingers but when you need something you usually wait half the day if it's addressed at all. You're allowed to smoke but not hold on to your own stuff, they have set times they take you out but most the time they are very late if they show up at all for your smoke break so you don't get one. They have some threshold issues that are safety hazards for people in wheelchairs, like to have keys to the bathroom six feet on the wall. Try getting that when you have to pee really bad and only have one leg.
