We have been mostly happy with the care my sister receives, but there have been recurring issues that never seem to go away. Her room isn't cleaned well and her clothing and personal belongings disappear. The worst part is her nail care, which is zero! We are assured at every conference things will be better, but they are not.

I wanted to say how much I appreciate everyone at the Arbore. Everyone there has been nothing but professional and kind to not only me but to my mother in law that we had placed there. The facility is nice and clean. It's a nice and safe environment for my loved one. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants to be reassured that their loved one will truly be taken care of to the highest standards. A special Thank you to Eddie, Vanessa, Wendy and Tracie and to those I haven't interacted with or forgotten. You've made it stress free and easy to navigate through the transition process. The patience and the professionalism you've shown, will not go unnoticed with me. I truly from the bottom of my heart am greatful and truly thankful for the work all of you do and what you have done so far for my mother in law. Again, Thank for everything you have done. It's a great feeling to know that I'm placing someone I love in a care home, knowing that the staff truly care.

First of all, assisted living and senior care of any kind is taxing and God's work. The staff at the Arbor are wonderful overall when it comes to the most important thing, which is my sister's care. My missing star is the result of laundry being put wherever they want and not in the labeled drawers so it is often hard to find stuff my sister needs, missing items that we know we've brought but we're told we need to buy for her (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lip salve, diaper rash goop, toothpaste, etc so we now mark the calendar when we bring in new stuff which has curbed the pilfering) or just plain missing, like towels, caster cups, and reading glasses. Also, housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Sure, the minimum is done, but more than once I have had to mop her floor or sweep stuff from under her bed, or ask them to reload the automated paper towel dispenser, so now I make it part of my routine to do housekeeping whenever I visit her. Maybe I'm just too much of a neat freak, but I know how my sister likes things so I try to keep her room tidy. But again, the important thing is care--and those caregivers are awesome the way they tolerate my sister's endless demands and insults. Special thanks to Deb, Savien, Tina and Trey. Kudos!

My 92 year old mom has been through the entire Avamere system...from Independent, Assisted, and now Memory care. Her needs were much greater than Assisted Living was designed to accommodate, so we moved her to The Arbor for memory care. This was the best thing for her and she is thriving in the Arbor community. We are grateful to Becky and all at Assisted Living for recognizing mom's real needs. The transition has been wonderful and the Arbor staff, as well as all others, are wonderful. She is in very good hands. Thanks to all!! -The Suing Family
