Just dont. If your loved one cannot advocate for themselves at all, do not...I repeat do not out them there. My father was there for 28 hours when I went to visit, he looked like a whole different person and was shriveled up like he didnt drink or eat a thing the whole time being there. Not to mention he was in a room with someone, I didnt know he was in a shared room....and the temp was set to 61 degree for a 80 year old post stroke victim. He was in the same clothes he came in with, apart from his pants. The new pants were filthy. Nobody could give me answers on the amount of food or liquid he drank since admission, or when I did get it it was for a few meals and they told me in person. Not from the many calls to check on him and speak to him, which I never got to speak to him. It was very weird behavior, and I kept being told hes fine and doing fine without any details that I asked to make me feel better. Smh I went to visit 7:45pm and my heart was broken to see my dad that way. He was left in a unlocked wheelchair, with call light not in reach and just sitting in a very cold room. He cried when he saw me and begged to come home. Which I did within 30 minutes of me getting there.

My mom was taken here after her hospital stay. I only give this a 1 star because there were some friendly staff there, but that’s it. My Mom was in her last month of living and she was pretty much bed bound. She was still able with help go to the rest room. When she needed to use the restroom no one would come for hours and she would use the alert and would wait patiently until someone came, but no one would. There was a time where she had to go so bad and wasn’t in any diapers that she crawled off her bed and crawled on the floor to the toilet. She wasn’t able to pull herself up to the toilet so she spent the next 2 hours laying on the bathroom floor until help came. She was yelling help for hours. Like I said she used the alarm asking for help and after.l a few hours of no response that’s when she decided to take matters into her own hands and then was still laying there after 2 hours only to have an aide ask her why she didn’t call for help. Ok really? The lady sharing her room was the same, she ended up going into a diabetic coma when I was visiting and I was there daily to see. That lady ended up getting rushed to the emergency room because she was asking for help and no one would come to her for hours. The furniture was disgusting and had holes and food spills all over. The curtains would not close and was filthy. I was horrified when she was brought here. Other google reviews were glowing but that’s not the case. Yelp shows this place has just over a 1 star review. I didn’t realized this until I did some research. I was so upset at the care she got that I demanded that I check her out. The case manager would not let me and said I would cease all care/insurance if I did that so I was left to keep her until I could figure out other arrangements. Please do your research before putting a loved one here. All the 5 star reviews on this place are fake!!!! I work in the healthcare industry and also work for a hospice agency. I know when things get busy, but the care here is horrendous.

Tempe Post Acute is awesome, I've had such great experience here. Why because you can see people generally love and care for the residents. This is very important, and it's always clean. Also they keep the residents busy with activities. This puts a smile on there faces.

My mother has been there since December 31 had nothing but horrible treatment been ignored wet the bed nobody comes in. I’ve complained to everybody. Nobody does anything. I’ve talked to charge nurses case managers, physical therapist people in charge and nobody cares just got done talking to two of the nurses (Gloria and May)that let my mom sit in her own urine for over an hour and a half and they could not give any reason why they just kept saying somebody should’ve came by and nobody comes by people walking by the room. My mother is physically yelling help, and they continue to walk by as I’m on FaceTime watching this happen, her roommate got up to go to the bathroom and nearly fell, and we kept calling over 30 minutes to get a phone call, answered! We kept calling the button and nobody still came . it’s very unfortunate that elderly people get treated like this because they think they’re not about their widths or they don’t know what’s going on. My mother is very sharp and well minded. This should be addressed!!!! And when the RN May came in, I kept asking her to give an explanation why nobody had been in there and she could not answer. Then proceeded to ask her what happens when the call light is hit she said that it beeps and beeps so clearly they hear it they choose not to answer it. God forbid something serious would happen as a fall or a choke or a heart attack they would be left for dead. I pray to God that nobody ever has to be in the situation with their loved ones especially when it’s hard enough seeing your family suffer. If you ever ever get recommended to this facility, Tempe, acute in Arizona I strongly urge you resist and do not use that facility because your family is highly likely To be ignored and not taking care of as a human being.

My aunt stayed at Tempe Post Acute for a respite stay, and the care she received was absolutely amazing! The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate, she felt comfortable, supported, and cared for every step of the way. The team went above and beyond to make sure her short stay felt like home, with every detail handled thoughtfully and professionally. Tempe Post Acute offers a wide range of health and rehabilitation services, all delivered with exceptional skill and heart. It’s also part of the same incredible campus as Desert Marigold, where my mom and aunt are both residents. Together, these communities provide a full continuum of care, from post-acute rehab to assisted living and memory care, making transitions seamless and comforting for families. The campus itself is beautiful, welcoming, and continually improving. You can truly feel the love, professionalism, and dedication that go into every part of this place. Everyone, from nursing to housekeeping, dietary, and maintenance, takes pride in what they do. Tempe Post Acute is more than a care facility, it’s a community built on compassion and excellence. I highly recommend it! 💛
