Nice looking facility. 50/50 on staffing and management. The skilled facility is wonderful. Very caring. Work hard to provide excellent patient care. The assisted living Taylor Village not so much. Most of the staff are Cna’s with a day class certificate. There are hardly any nurses and at times none. Scary for a cna with no knowledge to be doing nursing duties with no knowledge. I saw pills from days prior on the floor that the resident’s did not receive. Staff on weekends sleeping in the common areas. Staff not answering call lights because “ she pushed it once I am not going back in there “ I would fear for my loved one if they were there. Management is horrible. Nurses that bring up all the illegal and unsafe practice acts or try to suggest improvements leave due to management not wanting to get up and do what needs to be done. No respect and no dignity will be given to your loved one. Call lights going off for hours… good ratings I believe due to the great job the skilled nursing department provides. Don’t fall for the appearance of this place. Lies, coverups and incompetent staff is what lies beneath.
