We would like to share our review for my husband’s caregiver, Tavian. He has been with us now for several months and having his help caring for my husband has been invaluable. My husband has cancer and is very weak at this point. I have had abdominal surgery recently and he has been there for both of us. I am so grateful for the help we have received. Their attention to detail in caring for clients is outstanding—they truly take the time to understand each person’s needs and provide compassionate, reliable care. What really stands out is the support and encouragement they offer caregivers which makes such a difference in the quality of care clients receive. Communication is another strength. Synergy keeps clients, families, and caregivers connected and informed, which brings everyone peace of mind. I am deeply disappointed in Synergy HomeCare. I hired them to provide care for my mom. While things started off well, the experience ultimately unraveled due to dishonesty and mismanagement from the office staff. When I hired Synergy, I trusted them to prioritize my mom's care and communicate transparently. Unfortunately, they failed on both fronts. The caregiver they assigned was upfront with the company about her availability. She couldn’t work overnight shifts due to family responsibilities. Despite this, she occasionally agreed to overnight shifts to help in emergencies . Although, she made it clear that she wasn’t available for these shifts long-term. On one occasion, I needed extra hours beyond the caregiver’s regular schedule. During her prior shift, I inquired and confirmed she was available to work the additional hours. I then scheduled the shift through the office, as she instructed. However, Synergy told me she wasn’t available and also claimed they couldn’t find anyone else to cover. At the same time, they told the caregiver she had too many hours and blocked her from signing into their system. When the caregiver confronted them, they falsely claimed that I had canceled the shift. Frustrated by the repeated lies, I left a message with the office demanding honesty and for the caregiver to be allowed to work her shift. An office staff member returned my call but continued the deception, claiming the caregiver was “uncomfortable” coming to my home—a blatant lie. When I confronted her, she persisted, so I ended the call. Desperate to ensure my mom wasn’t left alone, I contacted the caregiver directly and offered to pay her myself for the shift. She explained that Synergy prohibited her from working privately with clients and threatened fines for doing so. Thankfully, a friend was able to step in and I didn't have to bow out of my commitment, but the stress this situation caused was completely unnecessary. The following Monday, I received a voicemail from the general manager. He informed me that Synergy would no longer provide services, again citing that the caregiver was “uncomfortable” in our home. When I followed up, he admitted that he hadn’t heard this directly from the caregiver. I explained the series of lies and mismanagement. He assured me he would contact the caregiver to hear her side of the story. When I checked with the caregiver later, I learned that the general manager failed to contact her. Additionally, they fired her that very morning when she attempted to submit her resignation. This decision was made a couple hours before I received his voicemail, which further confirmed the dishonesty of the entire situation. Synergy HomeCare’s actions have demonstrated a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and respect for both their clients and caregivers. As a family caregiver, the stress of ensuring my mom’s wellbeing is already immense. Synergy only added to that burden. Their empty promise to "have my back" was nothing but lip service. I will never use Synergy HomeCare again. I cannot recommend their services to anyone seeking reliable, honest, and compassionate care for their loved ones.

My mother became a client of Synergy Home Care of Olympia three years ago after a major medical event in her life. She required quite a lot of help the first few weeks of returning home, and the Synergy team came through fabulously!! Over the past three years, as mom’s needs have fluctuated due to several hospital stays, the staff has gone above and beyond to insure that she received the help she needed. The caregivers are very knowledgeable and respectful. Brad, the office manager, is very personable and caring. Danielle (who secretly runs the office 😹😹) is always upbeat and positive , and takes care of the many changes we have needed. Our family is very, very, VERY thankful to have Synergy as our home healthcare provider, and we know that our mother is being well taken care of by her caregivers!!!!

My parents were in need of in-home care and Synergy was our first call. Brad and Danielle were patient, kind, and supportive as we asked a million questions. They helped us with paperwork, LTC insurance, and getting the right caregivers in for us. We have been with Synergy for five months and appreciate the great communication, follow-through, level of care and overall support they have provided during this difficult time. We cannot say enough about our happiness with Synergy in Olympia.
