I had a very positive experience with Sunstar Village. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the residents. The facility is clean, comfortable, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Communication is always easy, and the team answers questions with patience and professionalism. It is clear that they work hard to make every resident feel safe, respected, and at home. I would definitely recommend Sunstar Village to families looking for a caring and dependable assisted living community.

My mother has been a resident of Sunstar Village in Pinellas Park since November 2025. We were referred by a knowledgeable caring nurse who suggested a handful of ALFs that she thought would be a great fit for my mom.. After visiting and vetting these, we ultimately decided on Sunstar Village and have zero regrets.<br><br>My initial contact was with Linda, an administrator, who was beyond helpful with enrollment and navigating the ins and outs of Medicare and Medicaid. She and the staff continue to be extremely supportive and go above and beyond to ensure my mother is safe and provided with great care. As an only child, I do not have a big support system so it is reassuring to know that mom is always safe, being able to go to sleep at night and not having to worry is priceless.<br><br>We were fortunate to find such a wonderful place for my mother.

I recently sent my grandpa there, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the place. They always have activities for the residents, which keeps everyone engaged and involved. The staff is wonderful, caring, and attentive. From my experience, I’ve never heard a single negative thing about the facility. It’s reassuring to know my grandpa is in such a positive and supportive environment.<br><br>Thank you Sunstar team !

I’m Frank, a retired Navy veteran, and I’ve been living here since July of last year. I’ve had my fair share of experiences over the years, and I can honestly say this place stands out in a good way.<br><br>The staff here treat you with respect and patience. They don’t rush you, and they actually take the time to listen. That means a lot, especially when you’re used to structure and accountability like I was in the service. There’s a sense of consistency and care that you don’t find everywhere.<br><br>The facility itself is clean, well-kept, and runs in an organized manner. Meals are provided regularly, and there’s always someone available if you need help with anything. I’ve noticed the staff stay on top of things throughout the day, and that gives me peace of mind.<br><br>What I appreciate most is that I still feel like myself here. I’m not just another resident - I’m treated like a person with a history and a voice. That goes a long way.<br><br>Overall, I’d recommend this place to other veterans or anyone looking for a safe, respectful environment to live in.
