To the wonderful staff at the Sunlight Senior Living. Paula's stay at the facility was just wonderful, even the cook noting Paula does not like fish made a separate meal for her.The staff was very friendly and we were assured that she was in good hands. Thank You for everything. Karen Yarmo and Neil Yarmo

Sunlight Senior Living provides an exceptional level of care and support. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to residents’ well-being. The environment is clean, welcoming, and designed to feel like home. Communication with families is consistent and reassuring. I would highly recommend Sunlight Senior Living to anyone looking for quality assisted living services.

As a resident for about 2.5 years, I've been consistently disappointment. Poorly staffed and always overturning staff. The have no Dietitian. The meals are for all residents. Needing special meals for those with health concerns. So.e staff are known to raid the kitchen pantries regularly causing meals to be short when those are living here going away hungry. Sadly there are a sad few of residents steal from other residents. From breaking into apartments to one resident have several items taken . Ranging from 10 silver collectible coins and pawned to room heaters. This well after that person returns. apartment had a broken door hinge that was not fixed until well after that person returned totaling 4-5 months When looking at Sunlight to place a relative, check with the Long term term care ombudsman, the state and county what is on file for them.

Save your time, energy and loved one - go elsewhere! New ownership took over in January 2020 and their only concern is making money. It’s very sad to see how humans are treated here. It would be shocking if they remained open once the State of MN gets inside and takes a look around. Cockroach infestation for months (and still currently an issue) with nothing done to eliminate the problem. Mice seen and killed by residents within the facility. The smell of urine and feces inside the facility is rancid. Notice the stains on the carpet that owners refuse to have cleaned or replaced. Snacks are not served and meals are not covered so they’re cold when they get to resident’s rooms. No translators so if you’re non English speaking, your family should be prepared to be on call to translate for you. Supplies are very limited and often things are out of stock within the facility, including gloves, gowns, toilet paper, paper towel, cleaning supplies, diabetic supplies, etc. No screening for COVID when visitors arrive so the residents safety is at jeopardy. Medications that should be refrigerated are not. Try calling and good luck getting through. Resident phone line rarely works. Money constantly stolen from residents rooms and never reimbursed. This list goes on and on and on. Constant turnover of staff. No housekeeping staff for months. Maintenance is part time with no set schedule so things rarely get fixed. The Director is rarely in the building. Full time staff that had been there for years all terminated with no explanation because the owners wanted to save money by hiring part time people that they could pay less. Really poor and inexperienced ownership!
