I recently had the opportunity to visit and was impressed by how welcoming and wellmaintained everything was. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. A special thank you to Sharonda, the Business Office Manager, who was incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful during my visit. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made a lasting impression. I visit many senior living and healthcare facilities throughout the Houston area, and it's always refreshing to see a team that genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for residents, families, and visitors. Thank you for the warm welcome

I was very pleased with Sugar Land Health Care Center. A relative of mine stayed there for six weeks, and I visited daily during that time. The staff was very competent, caring, and professional. They took excellent care of the patients and were always attentive and supportive.

I was especially impressed by how helpful and caring both the office staff and the nursing staff were throughout the stay. Everyone treated us with kindness and respect. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.

This facility was incredibly disappointing. The only positive part of my loved one’s stay was their interaction with therapy. The therapists were very caring and brought a bright part to the day. The food is not catered to your loved one’s dietary needs - especially those with diabetes. The nurses are hit and miss, and like many others said act like they are being forced to come and help those on their shifts. Most sitting around watching videos while your loved one is clicking a button for assistance. We even experienced a worker toss water on the bathroom floor 2 days in a row because they were too lazy to place it in the sink or trash. Thankfully, that matter was addressed promptly after speaking with the appropriate people. Aside from that, nurses are quick to say your loved one is “refusing” things, such as basic hygiene. Had I not been there daily, asking for my loved one to get bathed, it likely would have continued. 5 days and 3 prompt calls later, this was addressed - but should not have gone on that long. If you place your loved one in the facility I highly encourage you to ensure and follow up that they are receiving proper care. Do not just assume they are being taken care of.

My husband was here for therapy form stroke. At first he was not doing too well and insurance discharged us . The therapist continued working with him and now he has gotten better. The staff here is very good patient and helpful. The administrator, Bernadette Staples, go out of her way to help families and explain insurance and financials. Sharonda in business office has been very patient with me with long term care insurance and Medicaid pending. The team here has truly helped and supported me to navigate my husbands care. I would highly recommend this facility. Just remember they can only do so much as insurance is the one who can tell them. So pls as a family member and love one know your benefits ahead of time! It is so frustrating working with insurance. Be prepared that not everything will be covered by insurance. Even if you have long term care insurance.
