Two Thumbs Up! "Growing Up" comes with decisions and choices. My mother started her 91st year with a fall and hip surgery. Living alone in a big house, dragging recycling bins to the curb... were no longer possible. We toured a dozen (!) facilities. Many are newer, some are closer... but Sterling Court has high ceilings in the dining area, a giant courtyard, private patios.... When we discussed where you spend 90% of your (retired) day, it is in the dining room, in the courtyard.... Having 3 entree options at each meal, having multiple courses, having a "living room" and dining facilities that are vaulted and inviting matters! My mother has now been at Sterling Court for 60 days -- and LOVES it. She's meeting new people, and raves about the food and the staff. (They clean her apartment weekly; they help her with WiFi and other challenges...) I have to drive a few more miles to get to/from Sterling, but this was the best facility! No regrets! Sarah and her staff have been incredible!

This place is so wonderful I would love to live there! The staff are exceptional; so attentive, kind and efficient. Kudos to Chad who is the Executive Director for creating an atmosphere of comfort, well being, cleanliness, and fun. I saw him several times going beyond expectation to make sure everyone was taken care of, always with a smile. Actually everyone was like that. We stayed at the facility for 5 days in their Guest Room. I even took part in a couple of the activities (wanted to do more, but it is for the residents after all!) Made some lovely new friends, and went home knowing my father is in the best possible place for him to be.

The services Sterling Court provides is amazing. The caregivers truly care about all residents and treat them as their own family. Choosing this retirement home was the best decision I could have made. Every day that goes by I rest assured knowing that my dad receives the best care and he truly enjoys his time at this assisted living community.

Sterling Court has been nothing short of amazing to our parents. After searching the entire peninsula my sister and I decided we had found the perfect place. My mom and dad are still independent, but Sterling provides the safety and security we needed for them. Their two bedroom condo is lovely and remodeled. We were able to bring all my mothers favorite pieces from home plus shopped for some fun new things. They have a lovely unit with 2 beautiful balconies. They even decorated them for Halloween. The staff is courteous, attentive and very helpful. Executive Director Sarah has far exceeded our expectations. She knows every resident and truly cares. Chef Dennis does an amazing job with a tasty menu that makes dining a fun experience. I even get a glass of wine when I go to the dining room. Happy hours are fun and they have great music for mingling. Private underground parking, maticulous landscaping and many activities if you want to participate. I am filled with gratitude for all Sarah and her staff do to make a difficult transition flawless. You can even bring your pet! Miss Daisey loves her new home too. I can't forget the Lincoln town car service and shuttle. It is great to have peace of mind knowing my parents are in the best independent senior community on the peninsula. I know they are going to sleep content at night after their two scoops of ice cream with chocolate sauce in the dining room. Sarah's staff aims to please. If you want you can even deviate from the extensive daily menu and splurge and get a cheese burger and fries. Thank you!
