June 17, 2026 I recently completed a 4-month rehabilitation program at Staten Island Care Center and had a fabulous experience. A special shout-out to both, Marlon and Jubin, my two main therapists, for their exceptional dedication. They were very encouraging, pushed me to do my best and always commended me for my efforts. Thanks for your hard work! I am now able to walk without a wheelchair, walker, or cane and return to my usual daily activities. Thank you to all the therapists, nursing staff and office staff especially Helen and Jazmine (both Social Workers) for the super encouragment you gave me throughout my stay. EVERYONE HAS PLAYED A GREAT ROLE IN MY RECOVERY FOR WHICH I WILL NEVER FORGET!!! I highly recommend STATEN ISLAND CARE CENTER to anyone looking for a dedicated and supportive recovery environment. my dad came here two months ago not even being able to lift a single finger. the doctors at the hospital said he was most likely paralyzed and today he WALKED out of there. he had a standing ovation from the staff and it was the most genuine nicest thing i ever seen. i have nothing bad to say about this place, they all did right by my dad always. thank you to everyone from SICC. the entire staff from the 4th floor was amazing, a special shoutout to malika, sheldon, gianna, shawn and tanya. the wound care nurse jonathan was such a great guy. Nissan, Israel, and Lori were all always so helpful. A huge shoutout to Angela and Jasmine for always making us feel heard and seen. And the biggest shoutout to the entire therapy team, Jubin and Marlon were amazing and so friendly.

My father passed today and I want to thank the staff (nurses, CNA, cleaners, food service & admin) for the care and consideration they offered me and my family. I stayed by my dad's bedside for 6 days and 5 nights - they gave me and my niece coffee and tea every day with some cookies and fruit - they really took care of us. They even gave us a private room at the end because he has so much family visiting - and they were still nice and accommodating. From the first day (24 days) he entered the facility they all came into us and introduced themselves to us (even the cna and cleaners). They checked on him all day everyday. The facility is very clean! The staff is very caring and attentive. The rehab staff did help him straighten his legs out because he has been bed bound for about four months. They changed him several times a day pampers and wound care (from a different facility) and wahed him down everyday - again he was bed bound so they did his best but he didn't have an odor so we were okay. The residents freely roll around the facility to see friends and go to activities - the activity list was impressive everyday. The food looked good but my dad was on a puree meal plan so ..... didn't look so good - but I peeked at other residents food and it looked good to me. I really can go on and on about this facility - I am just glad we chose this facility because they made a scary time easier. The times we couldn't be there we knew he was taken care of and they would give us updates when we got there.

24/7 visiting hours policy is indicative of the facility’s emphasis on family. Amazing staff, that is professional, efficient, and extremely friendly and helpful. They set a care plan for my father and executed the plan to completion in achieving the goal of him returning home.

My father received excellent rehabilitation at this care center. After suffering a stroke he is able to walk again. This rehab team is the best. The social worker, nurse practitioner and the nursing staff gave my father the best support and care as well. We are truly grateful for everything they did.
