I was impressed with St. Simeon Apts. for several reasons (as explained below). The grounds are nicely landscaped and kept clean. By the way, I think it's important to mention that the roads in the complex are one way only. The actual apartments are very nice. There is plenty of closet space. A hallway closet near the front door and another closet near the bathroom. The bedroom closet can fit a big wardrobe so if you're like me you definitely need a spacious size closet. The living room is an ample size, not big, but not tiny. The living room is open space so you would put your dining room table (dinette set) and chairs in part of that area near the kitchen. The kitchen is small just enough to have a refrigerator, stove and cabinets. It's meant to be functional and it suffices for doing dishes, storing kitchenware and cooking. The bedroom is, in my opinion, a good size. It will fit a queen sized bed and 1 or 2 bureaus. The bathroom is a typical looking bathroom that you usually see in senior apartments. The washers and dryers are in an area adjacent to the apartments. So it's convenient that you don't have to go far to do your laundry or drive to a laundromat. Mailboxes are close-by but you have to go outside to get your mail. They have a room where residents can get together to socialize and do activities or play games like Bingo. There's a bunch of friendly and helpful people that live at St. Simeon. It's a good place to live.
