I moved here about four years ago and each year got worse and worse. My neighbors are very friendly, a couple of maintenance men, friendly and janitors. When I moved in, they had put a new floor they took up all the rugs in the facility, And put it straight down on the cement, which makes it wet and cold, especially since It can be rainy. They never put down a vapor barrier so right now I have mold and mildew in my apartment. Pipes are constantly bursting going into the apartments. Melinda can be very nasty. They’re under new ownership, PRESERVATION, LP

This place is like a prison now. Every amenity they had is gone. The building is in shambles. Huge 4in wide and 2 of 3 foot long. The whole South Tower has big cracks in the floors, walls, and ceiling. This building is not safe and the residents are in danger. The South Tower is not stable. I also found out today that the project has been shut down and construction to stabilize it and finish the other things is halted because they couldn't be bothered to file for construction permits.

SHAME ON THEM!!! After submitting the required documents, Francis (manager) notified my mother, who resided in PA, that she qualified under the HUD requirements and scheduled a leasing appointment. Francis and my mother were in steady contact the weeks before the appointment, and when everything was good to go, my mom arranged movers, gave up her current lease, and spent most of her savings to move to St. Marks. When we arrived to sign the lease, the day before the movers were arriving, Francis said that my mother did not qualify. Francis stated that due to the mistake, she was worried about keeping her job and had not slept the previous night because she knew my mom had already moved out of her previous state. Francis apologized for not contacting my mom before she moved here and said she felt so bad for letting this fall through the cracks. Her assistant then tried to cover for her by blaming my mother for not submitting several forms, which were untrue. Thanks to Francis' incompetence in doing her due diligence, my elderly mother is now out of savings money and has nowhere affordable to live. I would hate for this to happen to someone else's loved one. Shame on them.
