Not the best place, would just let Momma lay in urine and feces. Urine would stay in the bedside commode without it being emptied. She was there for 21 days and she received only two showers. Her room was mopped once. It's just nasty in there. The food they serve them is AWFUL. The PT department is good.

My rating is for Ms. Emily who works with amazing patience and perseverance to get the rehab done. I've watched visted numerous times and this young lady connects doesnt give up and offers full support and encouragement. My friend is in great hands with Ms.Emily. Find it kinda sad the staff would rather tell them to pee in their diapers rather than take them to the bathroom, because they say it's faster to clean them up. There are several great CNAs and some desk sitters. Appericate the ones who are hands on and attentive. The lady at the front desk is also amazingly pleasant every visit.

My mother in law is a patient there. She often has to sit in feces because it isn’t her turn. She is one hundred years old and blind. When they bring her a meal they just leave it. She can’t find it or even know what it is. They wait a long time to answer when she rings. Don’t put anyone here. We are he b looking for something better but the good ones have a waiting list.

I am so horrified. I saw a nurse and assistant today rolling a resident from the Springhill nursing home on dauphin St. to the hospital without anything covering on him. He had a short sleeve tee shirt on and no jacket or blanket. He looked to be in his late 80. Not cognitive at all. How could he be allowed out without proper coverage. The man is a human being. It is cold outside. I guess it’s just a job. I would not let my mom go their.

DO NOT EVER put anyone you care about in this facility. They are absolutely horrible and if the patient complains to family they will scold the patient for it. My mom was in for rehab after hip replacement. They treated her like a drug seeker from the first time she asked for medication. Took hours to help her to the bathroom when she would ask. When I would complain they would make excuses and dismiss my concerns. Even when I found out she was going to the bathroom without help so she wouldn’t wet the bed without any help not even a walker!
