Horrible experience with my mother being sent there for rehab. They are a for profit establishment; privately owned. They neglected her after surgery.... 17 days and no stitches removed for a hip operation. No shower for weeks and this definitely was not because she refused a shower. I complained and it always fell on deaf ears . They ignored my requests for a doctor’s appraisal of her condition over and over. I spent 5 hrs a day there with my mom and finally after 4 weeks post surgery Doctor Christie Cambal who was assigned to her came in at 5:30 pm and told her she didn’t look good. NO CARE AT ALL!!! She was left in the bathroom for 45 min even after the emergency button was pushed. There was NEVER any communication! Be very alerted to the fact that this facility ignores your loved ones.

This retirement community is absolutely gorgeous! Main building hosts two restaurant-style dining areas on either side of a stunning engave/indoor garden. While I was visiting, I saw 18 residents being driven in golf-carts or taken on longer drives in cars. Someone REALLY thought about what was needed to supply a gracious retirement lifestyle...

Outstanding community as we have my wife's parents staying here. The staff here is wonderful and all the amenities that you could ever have for your loved ones is right here. Gorgeous views with a restaraunt that serves outstanding food. The grounds are always very well maintained and the security is top notch. This is definitely a place I wish more average hard working retired people could afford. I would recommend to any body if you have parents to look into this place.

TWO SURPRISES! My husband is here for a couple of weeks, in recovery from an illness that attacked his nerves: Guillaume-Barre. He came here after initial diagnosis and treatment at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, a new, wonderful, well-designed, well-prepared facility with bright diagnosticians! Spring Lake Village continues his quality treatment with equally-expert care and fine services to meet his physical needs. We are mutually impressed by the knowledge and quality of the staff: they knew just what to do to help him to begin walking again! The setting is peaceful, therapy is effective, food is healthy and delicious! Our care-givers and supportive staff are both kind and friendly! We remain in awe and gratitude that Santa Rosa has such an amazingly healthy, well-equipped facility, ...esp. its excellent therapists, friendly-staff, and the healthy meals in a setting where Nature is visible as much as possible! We are grateful for this Blessing! AK and SL.
