My mom was at Spencer Place for 1 year before she passed. The staff treated her like family and she loved being there. Sabrina was excellent with communication and directing her care. I would recommend them to any family looking for a loving environment.

My father has been a resident at Spencer Place for several years. At first My siblings and I were unsure if putting Dad in assisted living was the right thing to do. Naturally, my father would rather be at home, But he is much much safer at Spencer Place. Dad has adjusted pretty well. The staff is very accommodating to Dad’s request such as helping to find his phone and bringing his ice cream every night to his room. When he was first there, the staff would offer for him to come to exercise class, which that was a hard NO. But I see recently, he is joining in on activities. One of my father‘s favorite thing to do is eat good food. Fortunately, that is one of his Few complaints of staying at Spencer Place is He does not like the food. My father speaks highly of the staff at Spencer Place. Sabrina goes above and beyond for the residence, including my father. He speaks highly of Sabrina And Brian. I don’t know the names of other staff that helps Dad, But he doesn’t have anything negative to say about any of the staff. Assisted living is not cheap wherever you go. I would say the monthly cost at Spencer Place is right in line with other facilities. We have asked my father At different times, if he would like to look into some facilities that are a little closer to myself and my siblings, And he is not interested. If he can’t be home, Spencer Place is the next best thing

My 70-year-old sister lives at Spencer Place. In the last two years, counting hospitals, she has been in seven different facilities. Never have I experienced the love, care, and dignity that is offered by Spencer Place. Because this is offered from staffed the residence, the residents then offer it to each other. The food is really good and they have options, there is a walk in bathtub with jets that my sister adores, and activities go on all day long. I just can't say enough good about Spencer Place.
