Southern Meadows is a wonderful community! All staff there are very caring. Lots of fun activities for everyone. The cooks there make delicious food! Fast and friendly service from the staff - especially Ruby!

In my experience this place is wonderful and such a nice place. It is a little on the pricey side though like a lot that I can’t personally justify but if you have the money it’s a really great place to be at but other then that everything is excellent. Everyone tries to go above and beyond for the residents the best of their ability any how. They have amazing food and they generally try to have a lot of activities/events for the residents to do so no one gets too board or lonely. Everyone is so kind and encouraging about anything and everything. I would recommend it to people who are looking for a retirement home for sure!!!

My mother loves living at Southern Meadows. She repeatedly tells me she feels safe, has plenty of activities, and the staff (nurses, aides, cafeteria, maintenance, everyone) take great care of her. She has lived there almost 2 years and still tells me regularly how much she loves her home. I can’t thank Southern Meadows enough for the peace of mind they’ve given me as mother’s caregiver.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with Southern Meadows. From the very first inquiry about availability to the actual move-in day and beyond, we have been shown kindness, compassion, and genuine care. The staff make residents feel comfortable, respected, and valued. Every staff member we have encountered has been so nice! They have greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. They have been so patient and encouraging and it is such a reflection of the entire Southern Meadows community. The director, Amanda Stevens, has exceeded our expectations. She has been available any time we have questions and answers us promptly. Her dedication, professionalism, and personal attention to residents and families is evident and I think it truly sets Southern Meadows apart. She is clearly deeply committed to creating a warm, supportive, and safe environment for all the residents that call Southern Meadows home. If she can find a way to help you in any way, she does it immediately or finds the person that can help you and arranges it! Mealtimes are something residents look forward to and the dining experience is made to feel special and just adds to the welcoming atmosphere. They have a new Dietary Director and she actually introduced herself to our family and was so kind and lovely. Moreover, the meal we had was delicious! The outdoor spaces are so beautiful. The community courtyards have the most beautiful flowers and plants and are a bird watcher’s dream! Covered patio areas with nice plush outdoor furniture make going outside and connecting with nature such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. What truly makes Southern Meadows so special is that it feels like a family. There is a sense of community and belonging that is not always easy to find. We are so very thankful to have found such a wonderful place that our mom will, not only be safe and cared for, but also thrive! The joy and peace of mind that gives us is priceless.

Our family has been incredibly impressed with the care and compassion shown by the staff at Southern Meadows. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt this place was different. Amanda Stevens and the entire staff is consistently caring, nurturing, and professional, treating every resident with dignity, kindness, and genuine respect. It is evident Amanda is passionate about her work, providing attention and care to the smallest of details. She was quick to respond to all of our questions…even after hours, helping put our minds at ease as we too, were overwhelmed with this process. One of the things that stands out most is the strong sense of community throughout the facility. Residents are encouraged to stay engaged, connected, and involved, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and included. Knowing our mom is surrounded by such dedicated caregivers gives our family tremendous peace of mind. We are grateful for how everyone went out of their way to help mom feel welcomed. I highly recommend Southern Meadows to anyone seeking a safe, loving, and community-centered environment for their loved one
