I am very grateful for the care and support my mom has received at this memory care/assisted living facility. From the beginning, the process of transitioning her was made much easier by Michelle, who was incredibly helpful and compassionate. She kept me updated throughout the process, answered my questions, and even sent pictures so I could see how my mom was doing.<br><br>The facility is clean, welcoming, and well cared for. The staff has been friendly, kind, and attentive. I have been especially impressed by how engaged the residents seem to be and the activities and interactions that help create a positive environment.<br><br>Moving my mom into memory care wasn’t an easy decision, but having a caring team made a very difficult transition feel much more manageable. I appreciate everyone who has helped make this a comfortable and supportive place for my mom.

In February 2026, I had to rush to Florida when it became clear that my father was dealing with more than just minor memory issues. I had to make a quick decision and initially placed him in another assisted living facility in Lake Placid, FL. After a few weeks—and feedback from his local friends—it became obvious that the situation wasn’t right. We were concerned about communication and overall care, so I knew we needed to make a change.<br><br>My son and I moved my father to Southern Life, and what a difference that has made. From Michelle in Marketing to Mark in Maintenance, and every staff member we’ve encountered, the level of kindness, professionalism, and genuine care has been outstanding.<br><br>My father has always been very independent and will probably never be completely satisfied being in any facility, but Southern Life has found a way to support his independence while still giving him the care he needs. Most importantly, he is treated as a person—not just a number. The staff truly care about their residents, and it shows every day.<br><br>It’s incredibly comforting to know my father is in such good hands, especially since I live far away and can only visit every couple of months. I’m genuinely grateful we found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality care for a loved one.

I am satisfied with the care my mother is receiving; she is in the dementia unit, "Memory Lane." I have visited her at various times of the day and she is always clean and happy. Every body is nice Nathaly who is in charge all try to assist, sorry that I can’t mention every person ( don’t know the names) I will like to take a moment to specifically mention and thank James one of the person in the kitchen he always made mom happy and special thanks for Eladia she care for everybody like they are part of her family 🙏🥰

Southern Life Assisted Living is a wonderful place for your loved one. The facility is well maintained and managed. Special recognition to Michele P. for her attention to detail and extensive knowledge of caring for your loved one. Highly recommend this facilty.
