An honest review since nobody else is doing it... basically it used to be great but now it's bare minimum.<br><br>The quality of everything has rapidly declined over the last year. It is the most affordable place in Tulsa and the residents are lovely, but there are many issues. The activities coordinator left quite a few months ago and was never replaced. When moving our mom into Southern Hills a year ago, there was a full activities calendar with multiple events happening every day. Now there is next to nothing. There were many outings scheduled per month that are also no longer happening. There was a stylist who came in to do haircuts and such. That is no longer a thing either. The food quality was impressive for the first month or two, and then took a nosedive. The dining schedule has also changed multiple times in the past year, which makes things confusing for some of the elderly tenants that rely on routine. Residents all have many complaints when I visit (I visit multiple times per week). Manager will not answer the phone and moved the office upstairs to the 3rd floor, making it difficult for residents' needs to be met. I was told, "Just call us and we can check on your mom if you need us to." But phone calls are not answered. These are the three most frequent complaints I hear: the food, the activities, the difficulty with communication.<br><br>Update 2-13-24<br>The new manager is a lot better than the last one and seems to be more qualified for that type of work. Contact is easier and she has moved her office to the dining area where tenants can find her much more easily. However, the other problems have not improved. The only activities happening are the ones that residents put together themselves.

The residents living here are wonderful sensitive and educated people. The food is simply delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.
