I have lived here for almost 3 years now. I absolutely love it! The maintenance staff is very friendly and as prompt as humanly possible. The management staff is well organized.

Update from end of February 2026<br><br>This place has some grave issues. Wiring and fire issues that cause the sprinklers to go off, causing widespread damage through a fairly large area of the building. Building inspectors and fire inspectors need to pour through this building to see how many item they can easily find.<br><br>Outside: numerous vehicle break-ins continue. Poorly functioning cameras and essentially zero security.

I went to the old South Hills HS from 1968 to 1971. Still have my senior year yearbook from 1971. Moved from Pittsburgh in 1981. Heard from family members that it was closed in the mid 80's. Always wondered what happened to the building. Decided to Google it and find out. Glad it was saved and repurposed. Still have lots of great memories of my days at SHHS after all these years
