After visiting a friend in the assisted living area several times, I am not impressed. The atmosphere is that of a nursing home not assisted living. I didn't see .much interaction from staff to the residents. The staff seems like care takers rather than CAREGIVING ASSISTANTS. I have had many years of Healthcare experience, including all levels of nursing home, assisted living. This is not a place that I would recommend to a loved one for Assisted care.

My family had an emergency need for placement for a loved one and I called into community and spoke with Nikki. She was reassuring that her and her team can assist our family and eased our minds. I asked if we could come at that time to see the space and she was accommodating to us and provided a tour right away.

Had a wonderful time here today! My kids loved talking with the elderly ❤️ and doing the egg hunt! Wonderful staff and people! Amazing people here!

Every single person that I came into contact with at Somerford was a pleasure to deal with. Everyone was so kind and treated my father-in-law (and us) with respect and dignity. They were quick to respond to any questions and addressed all concerns immediately. There was never a time when we didn't think that he was getting the best possible care from Somerford.We would highly recommend placing a loved one in their care.
