I would like to give a five star review to general manager, Jeff, CRD, Christina and Kevin Concierge at Solita in Roseburg Oregon. Unexpectedly, I had to move my Dad Bill into a community without any warning. I didn’t have a mover and the community supplied us with a furnished room. Being from out of town, we needed a place to stay and they offered a room, basically I needed 100% assistance to make this move successful and Christina and Jeff gave us so much help during the process. They even offered us meals so we would not have to eat salad outside of the Community each day I was there helping my dad get settled. I reminded myself that I couldn’t have done this without the support of the staff at Solista. Thank you for providing a nice environment for my dad to live in and thank you for all the generous support you offered me during this very hard transition. I would definitely recommend your community to anyone looking for a nice senior environment for their loved one. Debbie Tobin.

My compliments and thanks to everyone at Holiday Garden Valley in Roseburg. Both my parents moved into this facility in August and immediately felt at home – even after leaving a house where they’d lived over 40 years. Their tenure did not last as my mother was diagnosed with cancer two months after that move. Although my father’s health required my wife and I to move him away from Garden Valley after her passing, close to where we lived in Iowa, the care and compassion demonstrated by everyone on staff was both touching and amazing. My wife and I spent several weeks in the facility for my parents. We witnessed firsthand the compassion demonstrated not only to my parents, but to all of the residents. I cannot thank the staff enough for all that they did for my parents. As a result, I certainly offer a high recommendation of Holiday Garden Valley.

This is an independent living facility not assisted. There are wonderful apartments at good monthly rates. Basic cleaning, basic cable, and meals are included in the monthly rates! Visitors eat free. The meals are very well prepared and the selection is nicely varied day to day. Fantastic amount of activities. Property is lockdown at night for safety. There is an in-house beauty technician that does both men and women by appointment. Really great place to live if you're tired of living alone and tired of maintaining a house. You can walk to the Roseburg Cinema. Roseburg shopping is very close by. The staff is excellent. Everybody peers to be very happy working there and there are several people who have been working at the facility for years. 💗

This is a wonderful retirement center. I needed a safe place for a family member to live and they were so helpful with the many questions I had during the process. They were attentive during the move and gave plenty of assistance as he got used to his new living arrangements. Friendly and helpful staff are always willing to help and answer questions. Plenty of activities for the residents, free shuttle service in Roseburg, and they clean the apartment every week. We are very pleased with the accommodations and staff here and highly recommend it.

5 +stars for every thing except the menu needs to be improved. Cooking methods don't get a equable product. Roll taste great but sometimes not cook enough. Would like to see it use local dairy and produce when avaible. Make seasonable fresh fruit available all the time. Thank you for using Umpqua ice cream.
