After sending our loved one to The Resort IN TEXAS CITY for physical therapy, they came out- actually after 2 weeks we took them out with no progress. The worst problem was NO COMMUNICATION WITH OUR LOVED ONE. The room had NO PHONE in their room. We had to go through staff to find out any information. On the weekends there was no calls returned, NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL! We would call and check on her progress during the week. When we rarely actually talk with someone, we were given false answers. We were told one story, but after 2 weeks we went to pick them up - only at that point was when we were told there was no progress. We had been told they could stand, they could walk with a walker - all false! If we would have known we needed a wheelchair, we could have arranged for one. We had to literally carry our loved one from our car to the house. Totally unacceptable. We CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY.

The place smells urine everywhere. I brought my own diapers and wet wipes for my mom because they don’t provide enough.
