I like my caregiver. I just don’t like how it was treated by the staff. My mother had passed away and I went to Texas to go see her make funeral arrangements and I came back and I had got a call and asking me if it was OK for her to come do the assessment. I said my mom passed away. Could we wait for another week and she said well I’m already on my way. Well, why would you call me then. I call because either I’m sick and I don’t wanna get my caregiver sick or I have appointments out of town so I won’t be at the house and the staff calls the caregiver making plans with her and I’m just like are you serious? You should be calling me before you call the caregiver to make plans with me first, and then when she came and did my assessment, she took my copies of the paperwork that I had signed and I keep asking for the paperwork Never receiving it. Who I do not like being treated like an invalid.

I am a caregiver and I love simplicity. Working with veterans and their family. They are good people who run simplicity and is here for us when we have questions or concerns. Would recommend simplicity all they way around.

The company has unprofessional care coordinators working for the company. They have poor communication skills, with both client and caregivers. From the supervisor, to the manager, all the way to the owner will lie about everything especially when you have proof of everything and documentation of everything. Company takes advantage of the caregivers will lie about the how long and how far the client is, also says they're a flexible company, also a lie, told them they wasn't available on Saturday and Sunday they still tried to schedule them. Know they explained multiple times they didn't have a babysitter those days. Brandy the care coordinator trys to get caregivers in trouble she called and explained to write at note what time a left, the very next day they get a call from another care coordinator Michelle saying during business hours need to speak to someone one the phone, not put it in the notes. They explained they did call and talk to Brandy. Brandy said to write it like that and she'll clock the person out. Which Brandy never did unprofessional care coordinator. They say they have recording on the phone calls, if it's true why do they keep say she didn't say any of it. Michelle lied about what brandy put in the notes, and HRHolly says what Michelle says brandy never said it. Because that person has recording of every call with everyone they told to and everything one of them lied about everything.

The most unprofessional caregiving agency. I had to let go of caregivers for drinking on the job which resulted in a veteran being hospitalized. Caregivers were taking 5 to 6 smoke breaks during their three hour shift and would sit in their car for 10 to 15 minutes per smoke break. There were many no calls no shows. Always showing up late always on their phone. I came back from shopping and found a caregiver sleeping which puts my veteran at risk. I had a caregiver ask me out multiple times I had to let him go for being unprofessional. They have employees like Michelle, who is a caregiver supervisor she loves drama. She loves to spread rumors and lies and cause chaos. She makes the caregivers feel like they're walking on eggshells. She violates client confidentiality by talking about what goes on in the home between caregivers and the clients which is a violation of HIPAA. Instead of focusing on veterans care and well-being like this agency Advertises, people like Michelle are making the workplace very chaotic and making caregivers and veterans fill that confidentiality is not a priority. I decided to switch agencies to protect my veterans and so that future caregivers could fill safe and comfortable doing their job.
