Silverado is a great memory care community for those that are still in the early stages, they have a large and beautiful garden located in a quiet serene area, and most of the staff have been there for a while. Shiv, Anja, and Bob are just some of the knowledgeable staff you can count on.

Anja is an exceptional director at Silverado Belmont. Her experience and dependability make all the difference when it comes to navigating senior care. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Silverado Belmont Hills. We moved my 97 year old aunt there in December and couldn’t have been happier with how she was treated. My mom and I were there on a regular basis and observed how caring and compassionate the staff are. She really thrived with the daily activities and personable staff. She also loved the food. Everyone is readily available from the director and nurses to the engagement team and everyone in between. Such special people as you can tell it’s not just a job to them. They know everyone’s name and treat everyone with respect and kindness. Beautiful grounds as well. She was always excited to see “Rudolph” outside her window. Lots of deer visitors outside on the back lawn, as well as the dogs and cats that roam the halls. When she was hospitalized and declining with congestive heart failure we asked if she’d like to stay in the hospital or go back to Silverado, she wanted to go back. They welcomed her back in another neighborhood on the campus with more one on one care. They were absolutely wonderful with her. She was able to spend her last week with lots of love and caring. When my mom and her other niece were there at the end, it was in the middle of the night and they were constantly coming by to see if anything was needed. Bottom line is I wished we had moved her to Silverado from her other assisted living facility sooner. They really have the residents’ best interest at heart.

The engaging memory care classes, along with the presence of comfort dogs and even chickens, create a calm, welcoming atmosphere that helps residents feel at home rather than confined. As a long-term care insurance professional—and as someone whose father lived with dementia—I have a deep appreciation for Silverado’s all-inclusive pricing model. One of the greatest challenges families face is the uncertainty and stress caused by constantly changing costs as care needs increase. Silverado helps ease that burden by offering clarity and predictability. I regularly recommend that clients explore Silverado when they are looking for a comprehensive, peaceful, and well-supported memory care community for their loved one.

As President of the Belmont & Redwood Shores Rotary Club, I would like to shout out to Shiv Kapoor and the amazing staff at Silverado Memory Care Facility. Shiv recently hosted an event to the community on “How to Prepare on the Cost of Aging”. His hospitality was outstanding and everyone enjoyed the delicious spread of food and gifts which were raffled off in the lovely living room. We were welcomed with warmth and compassion - just the way their residents are treated. I’ve only heard wonderful stories from families who have had a loved one there. Knowing Shiv there is no doubt that this is a testament of how loved and respected their residents are. If you have loved ones with early signs of dementia, Silverado and staff are a great resource!
