Do not bring your loved one to this facility for hospice care. It was recommended to us by our dads VA case manager.and our experience has been horrible. Staff is kind but does not have the knowledge or capacity to care for dying patients. Despite charging 500 dollars a day for 24/7 care almost all care has to be requested or provided by family. He was left for hours without being checked on. When dad was in pain or struggling to breathe staff would come in give meds and leave leaving dad to suffer and family to struggle and panic. No support was provided to patient or family no compassion was shown. They wouldn’t even allow him to use more than one of there pillows. They seemed to busy to care. They were frequently short staffed and almost every time we called there was some excuse as to why they were unable help him or meet his needs. Dad required a hoyer lift and two person assist and they often did not have two aides able to help so family needed to assist on a daily basis. I can only imagine what it would be like for families unable to take FMLA or be there all day. They prioritized passing out trays and picking up trays over patient care and we were rarely able to get any support between the hours before or after mealtime. We had to complain to administration for provision of basic needs like turning, feeding or changing his clothes. We finally started doing all of it ourselves. There is no death with dignity here and a true level of incompetence that words will never appropriately convey. Its been one of the most painful, frustrating, traumatic experiences of our lives. If you care about your loved one do not bring them to this facility.

Our Uncle George was in your facility for rehab and we were very pleased with the care he received and how clean the facility was and the exceptional care given by C.J. LVN and he loved the guy named Juicy as he addressed any and all concerns I had which were very few. We would select your facility again anytime.
