Silver Birch of Kokomo is an assisted living community in downtown Kokomo, Indiana. This four-story community, which opened in spring 2018, offers studio and one-bedroom apartments designed to serve seniors of all financial means. The 119-residence community features barrier-free design throughout its apartments and public spaces.
The community provides a full spectrum of personalized services including 24-hour staff, housekeeping, laundry, and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming. Residents receive medication delivery and reminders along with prescribed therapeutic diets, as well as regular health and wellness checks including weight monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, and nurse consultations.
Three meals plus snacks are served daily in a restaurant-style dining room. Wellness services and activity programming are designed to help seniors thrive, and the community hosts events such as the Peach Coronation Ball and participates in community fairs and National Assisted Living Week celebrations.
On-site amenities include a library, hair salon, and fitness center, along with beautifully appointed common areas. The community is connected to downtown Kokomo via walking trails and is situated near the Kokomo Senior Center, shops, restaurants, banks, churches, and a seasonal farmer's market.
